Buckeye Blend was formed in 1987 by four guys who were
requested to sing "The Star-Spangled Banner" for a Columbus
Police Department decoration ceremony. Although they enjoy
singing for churches, business associations, Singing Buckeyes
shows and audiences in general, it seems they especially enjoy
those cool Autumn Saturdays when they can entertain their
favorite tailgate parties with parodies and skits before OSU
football games.
In 1997, Bob Mills retired from the quartet and Dave
Kindinger (the bass from Joker's Wild) became the group's new
lead. In 1999, Greg Spangler retired from the Quartet and John
Dudrow (the bass from Taggin' Around) became the group's new
bass. Buckeye Blend gladly welcomes their musical and
performance ability.
